In the summer of 2026, a new destination in Seine-et-Marne will enrich the offer of nature stays in France. Nestled in the heart of a preserved 95-hectare estate, on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, Les Cabanes de l'Orvanne will open their doors in June 2026. An invitation to slow down, to (re) connect with nature and to live a timeless experience, only one hour from Paris. Designed as a real break from the green world, this new field is in line with the vision carried out by Coucoo Cabanes : offer French tourism that is local, sustainable, deeply rooted in the territories and beneficial to living people.

A new destination in Seine-et-Marne in the heart of an exceptional site

Located in Moret-sur-Loing, the Cabanes de l'Oranne take place on the former Sadi Carnot estate, an emblematic site crossed by the Oranne River, whose meanders naturally accompany the rhythm of the stay. Ponds, marshes, open meadows and wooded areas make up a rare landscape, classified as a landscape for the richness of its natural environments.

Long weakened by the abandonment and gradual degradation of its ecosystems, the site is now the subject of an ambitious rehabilitation project. This new destination in Seine-et-Marne was designed in close consultation with elected officials, local associations and local actors, with a clear objective: to restore biodiversity while allowing a respectful and sensitive discovery of the place.

A project committed to the preservation of life

The location of the huts was deliberately limited to the northern part of the estate, which is the least ecologically sensitive. Ponds, streams and natural islands, real refuges for fauna and flora, are thus preserved. This approach makes it possible to reconcile the reception of visitors and the sustainable protection of natural environments, making Les Cabanes de l'Oranne one of most committed projects from Coucoo Cabanes to date.

Staying here means choosing an experience where every night contributes to the regeneration of a remarkable natural site, in a logic of progressive, discreet and respectful tourism.

Comfortable cabins, in harmony with the landscape

To give life to this new destination in Seine-et-Marne, the architecture agency AW2 imagined huts like small wooden capsules, finely integrated into the various environments of the estate. Placed in the trees, cantilever on a hillside or slightly raised to respect wetlands, the huts always remain under the high line of the trees, blending into the landscape.

At the opening, 20 huts will welcome the first travelers, before eventually reaching a thirty accommodations, all spacious, warm and designed for rest, calm and well-being. From the terrace, the view is lost on the water, the forest or the meadow, while nature invites itself at every moment.

An experience inspired by history and light

Moret-sur-Loing is known as the Impressionist village. A source of inspiration that can be found in the interiors of the cabins: changing color palettes, plays of light filtering through the foliage, moving reflections on the water. Each interior space extends the outdoor experience, inviting contemplation and letting go.

The stay is experienced as a return to the essentials: a peaceful night, the birds singing when you wake up, a shared drink on the terrace, a heated Nordic bath, or even a massage to prolong the feeling of well-being.

Common areas designed like a family home

The estate will also host common areas fitted out in an existing building, in a spirit family home. Warm reception, corner of local products, wellness treatment areas and rooms dedicated to professional stays or confidential seminars, overlooking the pond: everything has been designed to promote exchanges, comfort and conviviality.
