Miroko, a cabinetmaking workshop with unique expertise

Based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in the Creuse region, Miroko is a cabinetmaking workshop founded by Miroslav Kovaricek, who designs and crafts solid wood objects and furniture.

Each creation combines artisanal skill, creativity, and craftsmanship. The workshop favors local wood species and designs pieces tailored to the uses and identity of each location.

Tables, decorative objects, everyday accessories, or custom furniture: wood takes on many forms in Miroko's hands, all while retaining its natural and authentic character.

You may have already encountered Miroko's work without even knowing it!

For several years, this artisan has been involved in L’Atelier Coucoo, an initiative that brings to life signature objects designed specifically for our estates and crafted by French artisans.

His expertise can be found in many of the details that enhance our guests' experience:

• The wooden keychains, given to you upon your arrival at our estates.
• The breakfast trays, to enjoy the first hours of the day comfortably settled in your cabin.
• The coat and everything racks, which bring a natural and practical touch to certain accommodations.
• Some custom wooden mirrors, created for certain cabins.
• The seminar tables, which furnish our meeting and social spaces.

At Cabanes de l'Orvanne, wood makes its way even into the seminar spaces

Our collaboration with Miroko continues today at the Cabanes de l'Orvanne, in Seine-et-Marne, near Fontainebleau.

In the heart of a 95-hectare natural estate, between ponds, meadows, forests, and marshes, we wanted to create spaces that invite both disconnection and sharing.

To support this project, Miroko created two elements essential to our estate's identity: wooden signage and the tables for our two seminar rooms.

Wooden signage in harmony with nature

Upon arrival, our visitors discover signage created by Miroko, designed to integrate naturally into the estate.

The choice of wood creates a connection between the different spaces and the surrounding environment. A way to guide our visitors while preserving the warm and authentic atmosphere of the place.

Custom tables for connecting and working in a new way

Miroko also designed the tables for our two seminar rooms, located within the reception building.

Crafted from solid wood, they bring a warm touch to these spaces dedicated to meetings, discussions, and shared moments.

Here, you can leave traditional meeting rooms behind and gather in a soothing setting, as close to nature as possible.
