Nature weekend in Île-de-France: a local escape

Just 15 minutes from Fontainebleau and accessible by public transport from Gare de Lyon, Cabanes de l'Orvanne might just be the best argument against the "no time to get away" excuse...

week-end nature Île-de-France

What if a complete change of scenery was just 45 minutes from home?

We've all been there. Sunday evening arrives too quickly. The week flies by without you truly getting a moment to breathe. That feeling of needing nature (real nature, not just a park) but lacking the time or energy to plan a big trip...

That's exactly why the Cabanes de l'Orvanne exist!

Nestled within a 95-hectare estate in Moret-sur-Loing, Seine-et-Marne, they offer something rare in Île-de-France: a true nature weekend, immersive, car-free, and just over an hour from Paris.

An exceptional natural estate, on the doorstep of the Fontainebleau forest

The site is traversed by the winding and soothing Orvanne river, which sets the pace for the entire estate. Ponds with preserved banks, wooded areas, vibrant marshes, open hillsides: each landscape tells a different natural story, and each cabin is carefully placed within it.

Just 15 minutes from Fontainebleau and accessible by public transport from Gare de Lyon (Transilien train + 10 min by private car service), the Cabanes de l'Orvanne might just be the best argument against the 'no time to get away' syndrome.

Three cabin experiences, one promise: to reconnect

The Lakeside Cabins

Situated by the pond, between 2 and 4 meters above the water. Ideal for two, they open onto a peaceful panorama, punctuated by reflections and birdsong. Each features a heated Nordic bath with a view of the pond: a detail that, at sunset, is worth the trip alone!

The Marsh Cabins

Nestled between 3 and 4 meters above the wetlands, they invite you to observe wildlife from your private terrace. Herons, kingfishers, dragonflies: the main show is the local wildlife. Heated Nordic bath included.

The Hillside Cabins

More airy, with unobstructed views of the entire estate. Available in a duo version (with heated Nordic bath option) and a family version for up to 5 people, with an equipped terrace and Nordic bath. So that children can experience adventure, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. One of them is wheelchair accessible.

The Coucoo Cabanes experience: everything is designed so you don't have to think about a thing

A stay at Cabanes de l'Orvanne is a turnkey getaway, without any hassle. Breakfast delivered to your cabin, gourmet baskets filled with local products, on-site massages: every service is designed to help you truly slow down.

The cabins are designed with natural materials, light play and inspirations drawn from the Moret-sur-Loing region. The atmosphere is warm, understated, just right: far from artifice, close to the essential.

And because your well-being shouldn't come at the expense of nature's, Coucoo Cabanes is committed to a site rehabilitation initiative : pond restoration, biodiversity preservation, bioclimatic construction in partnership with AW² agency, wood sourced in France. Staying here also means contributing to giving a second life to a fragile place.
